Before I start of it has to be noted that there are a lot of misconceptions about those that have the Holy Spirit and those that do not, many people are made to feel small and second class within the body of Christ simply because they can not speak in tongues or jump around like everyone else does.
Have we really come to a point where we do not look at scripture and reflect genuinely on the set of believes that we hold, when we examine scripture we clearly se that God gives us all the gift of the Holy Spirit he does not want us to be orphaned and alone without any direction he wants us to know the place we hold in him and that we are forever bonded to him by the presence of the Holy Spirit in us.
I guess you can already sense were this is going too often we are held back by peoples lack of proper interpretation of scripture and are left feeling insecure and directionless there are many Christians as I write this waiting on the “baptism” of the Holy Spirit, but I am of the notion that once you receive Jesus as Lord God breaths life into you and that life is the Holy Spirit how can you wait for something that is within you to come upon you once again.
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
Peter says everyone that repents and gets baptized WILL receive the GIFT of the Holy Spirit, once you receive Jesus you do not need to wait any longer for Gods Spirits to come upon you by observing this scripture in its proper context you do not need to wait until God deems you ” worthy” to receive his Holy presence within you all you need to do is repent, trust and believe in the one that he has sent and that is his son Jesus Christ the perfect lamb that makes us right with God.
So yes every Christ follower that has repented and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ has the Holy Spirit of the living God in him/her.
The fruits of the spirit are not jumping around nor speaking in tongues, the fruits of the Holy Spirit are clearly listed in Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Gal 5:22-23
